Welcome to Emory University's Climate Survey website.
In the fall of 2004, Emory University implemented its first Climate Survey for over 8,500 university faculty and staff. A total of 3,239 employees participated for a 39% response rate. The effort was sponsored by the President's Commission on Race and Ethnicity (PCORE), who worked closely with an outside consultant, Atlanta SurveyNET, to create and administer the survey. The data on these pages reflects the information collected and compiled by the consultant.
Due to the large amount of data, the information has been broken down into three major categories:
History
- This page provides a brief re-cap of why and how the survey was created.
Summary
- These pages provide a high level look at the results and the comments that were received as well as a PowerPoint presentation that was made to the Administrative Council.
University Report
- These pages contain several sections (Number of Respondents, Survey Questions, Graphs and Detailed Category Results) that provide graphical representation of the data collected.
We hope that you find this site informative and that the data will help provide you with a snapshot of Emory University's climate.
